PictureOwner & Lead Artist, Avilda Whittmore
For almost a decade, Avilda Whittmore, owner and lead artist of Honeybee Arts LLC, has transformed thousands of shining faces into fun and vivid works of art.  Avilda has also instructed groups as small as 5 people, and as large as 75 people at a time, for numerous educational programs, art workshops, paint nights, and craft events for the last 6 years.  She has worked with many clients, including: Kidz Bop, Nordstrom, Peloton, Hornblower Cruises, Twinings Tea, Red Lobster, Fordham University, Luna Park NYC, Capital One Bank, the Brooklyn Women's Bar Association, Battery Park City, BaAM Productions, Bedford Stuyvesant Family Health Center, Pitkin Avenue Bid, Community Solutions, Macy’s, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, Funtopia and many more.  Her patience, professionalism, attention to detail, and love for art ensures that you are in great hands.  To inquire about an event, contact Avilda, here.

The six-week summer program taught graphic design for social justice and mural painting to the youth. Artist Avilda Whittmore, who was born and raised in Brownsville, led the young activists through the program. She said serving young people in her hometown with the Youth Design Center was nothing short of amazing.
